Therapist Intern for Children, Adolescents, and Adults Exploring Identity, Healing, and Growth

As a therapist-in-training with Root & Rise Collective, Cyleste is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and adults explore their sense of self and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and clarity. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with past experiences, questioning their identity, or seeking support through life transitions. Cyleste believes that healing begins with curiosity, self-understanding, and the opportunity to feel truly seen.

With a background in psychology and biomedical science, Cyleste brings a unique perspective that considers both emotional experiences and the ways they can influence the body, behavior, and overall well-being. She is passionate about helping clients uncover their innate resilience, process difficult experiences, and build a stronger connection with themselves. Her goal is to help clients make sense of their past, understand their present, and create greater freedom for their future.

Cyleste approaches therapy through a trauma-informed and holistic lens, tailoring her work to each client’s unique experiences and goals. She integrates person-centered, narrative, humanistic, strength-based, and DBT-informed approaches to support emotional growth, self-awareness, and meaningful change.

When working with children and adolescents, she may incorporate elements of play therapy to encourage emotional expression, creativity, and skill development. Across all ages, she strives to create a space where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences, challenge unhelpful patterns, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with their values.
