Founder & Clinical Director, Root & Rise Collective

Colleen Nelson, MA, LPC-S, EMDR, is a somatic therapist, clinical director, and founder of Root & Rise Collective, a training and group practice dedicated to helping new therapists grow with integrity, authenticity, and sustainability. After more than a decade in private practice, she has guided thousands of clients through trauma, relational healing, and deep self-integration while mentoring clinicians through licensure and practice building.

Through her coaching and personal brand, Colleen helps women reclaim their inner truth, pleasure, and authenticity by integrating all parts of themselves — the messy, the powerful, the wounded, and the wise. Her work blends somatic therapy, nervous system healing, and real-life experience to create spaces where people can feel, heal, and fully become themselves.

Her mission is simple: to create a world where therapists practice with integrity and women feel fully alive in their own lives.
