As a therapist with Root & Rise Collective, Kat works with adolescents and adults navigating trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and questions about identity, purpose, or direction. Many of the clients she works with are survivors of trauma, women, young adults searching for clarity, or men who are ready to explore vulnerability in a supportive space. Her goal is to help clients reconnect with their intuition, develop emotional awareness, and build confidence in their ability to navigate whatever life brings.
With over five years of experience in crisis work and complex trauma recovery, Kat is passionate about creating a space where clients feel safe enough to be honest, curious, and fully themselves. She believes healing happens when people are given the opportunity to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with their own inner wisdom.
Kat’s therapeutic style is relational and heart-centered, grounded in the belief that healing becomes possible when we are met with compassion and presence in a safe environment. Inspired by her training in contemplative psychotherapy, she integrates Western psychological approaches with mindfulness and body-based awareness.
She draws from Gestalt, AEDP, Internal Family Systems (IFS), DBT, Narrative Therapy, and humanistic and psychodynamic approaches. Kat also works from a feminist and social-justice-informed perspective, honoring how identity, culture, and lived experience shape the way each person moves through the world.
Together, therapy may explore emotional patterns, relationship dynamics, trauma responses, and the parts of the self that are ready for healing and growth.
Kat aims to create a warm, accepting environment where all parts of a person are welcome without judgment. She views therapy as a collaborative process rooted in compassion, curiosity, and respect for each client’s pace. For those looking for a supportive space to process past experiences and move toward a more connected and fulfilling life, Kat welcomes the opportunity to work together.
