Kristy Coventry, MA, LPCC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate who brings warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for each client’s unique experience to her therapy practice. She uses a Client-Centered approach that honors intuition and the full Self, creating a space where individuals—especially children—can feel grounded, securely attached, and safe in their own brain and body.
Kristy specializes in Client-Centered Play Therapy for children ages 5–12, helping young clients process their experiences through connection, imagination, and emotional attunement. Her work supports children and their families in navigating self-esteem challenges, parenting dynamics, and neurodiversity, while also affirming and celebrating diverse identities, including those within the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities.
Clients working with Kristy can expect a collaborative, nonjudgmental environment where exploration of identity is welcomed and emotional safety is prioritized. With a background in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Kristy integrates a strong developmental lens into her therapeutic work. She is passionate about helping children thrive in who they are—and helping families support that journey with confidence and compassion.
Outside of therapy, Kristy loves spending time with her dog, playing board games with friends, and dancing at her favorite concerts.
