Madison joins Root & Rise Collective as a Clinical Intern bringing warmth, curiosity, and a genuinely holistic lens to her work. She believes that an empathetic, judgment-free space is the foundation for real therapeutic growth, and she’s committed to creating exactly that.
Madison is passionate about helping clients navigate life’s harder seasons: grief, depression, anxiety, major transitions, and the ways our relationships shape our sense of self and security. She works from the understanding that you are not alone in these experiences, and that knowing that matters.
She also has a passion for working with first responders and healthcare workers carrying the weight of secondary trauma. These are people who spend their days holding space for others, and Madison believes they deserve a space where someone holds it for them.
Her approach draws from attachment theory, somatics, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, CBT, Person-Centered Therapy, and Art Therapy. Madison pays close attention to how the body keeps score with emotional stress, and she sees nervous system regulation as a key pathway to self-compassion and lasting change.
Before pursuing counseling, Madison earned a BA in Visual Arts and Art History and an Associate of Science in Radiography, a background that informs both her creative therapeutic approach and her deep respect for the mind-body connection. She is honored to join clients with curiosity, compassion, and authenticity as they navigate life’s stressors.
